North Shore-LIJ Women’s Hospital is a $250 million world-class facility located on our Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus. Katz Women’s Hospital at LIJ Medical Center, is a comprehensive resource for the unique healthcare needs of women in our community…and beyond.

The project consists of the construction of a 9-story, 28,000sf Women's Hospital building including a basement.  The structure will provide new spaces for the delivery of healthcare to expectant mothers, a new double height main entrance and connection to the LIJ Main Tower with associated infrastructure.  The basement will be partially occupied by various building electrical and plumbing systems and the top floor will house various mechanical units, in addition to providing space for the elevator machine rooms.

The building enclosure will be composed of multiple systems.  The lower portion of the building will be custom glass storefront assembly and the upper portion will be unitized curtain wall assembly with glass and stone panels.
